Department Overview:
Considering the rapid computerization in every aspect of life, Government of Odisha opened the department of Computer Science & Engineering in the year 1991 at BOSE, Cuttack under the World Bank assisted project for technical education. The intake capacity was 40 per batch and usually top students basing on their HSC merit are taking admission in the department. The program ingrains in the students, a professional approach through project work and practical training. Most of our alumni are well placed in various companies in various parts of the globe. Some of them have done their higher studies under lateral entry after which they get better opportunity in MNC companies.
